In
order to be considered for admission to Abbott Tech, you must:
- complete
and file a signed application with your counselor; (Applications
available in your Guidance Office.)
- take
the Connecticut Mastery Exam or Abbott Tech Entrance Exam
Your
school must include with the application the following data:
- results
of the 8th Grade Mastery Test
- a transcript
of previous and current grades
- and a
record of previous and current attendance
Acceptance
Criteria
- Marks
in Grade 7 and marks at the end of the 2nd term of Grade 8
as reported by the sending school - 40%
- Attendance
in Grade 7 and at the end of the 2nd term of Grade 8 as reported
by the sending school - 20%
- A
measure of reading and math skills as determined by the Connecticut
Mastery Test - Grade 8 - 40%
