The Lady Wolverines went to Gampel Pavilion on the UCONN campus in Storrs, CT on February 15, 2008 to watch the #1 ranked UCONN Women’s basketball team versus the Pittsburgh Panthers. We had the surprise of Senior Renee Montgomery becoming the first active player inducted into the Huskies of Honor area of the arena.  There was a ceremony before the game in which they retired her number from ever being worn again.  Our seats were just below her plaque so we had the opportunity of being on TV and taking pictures with the husky mascot.  As for the game, the University of Connecticut women's basketball team used a 22-3 run in the opening 5:51 to put away the #19 ranked Panthers 95-42.  There were many memories created for the team who had lots of fun hanging out with each other.  Although we would love to share all, you know golden rule “What happens in Vegas, STAYS in Vegas!”.
