Maryoly Paulino, an exceptional senior here Henry Abbott Technical High School, has been recognized as one of the country’s
most outstanding high school seniors by the Coca-Cola Scholars
Foundation and has been awarded a $10,000 Regional Coca-Cola
Scholarship for college. Paulino, a member of the 21st class
of Coca-Cola Scholars, has demonstrated academic excellence
and civic excellence in school and in the community.
During the Scholars Weekend in Atlanta in early April, the 2009 class was recognized at a banquet held in their honor. They interviewed with a National Selection Committee representing education, business, government and arts leaders from across the country. The Scholars also participated in seminars, toured local landmarks and conducted a beautification project on the Chattahoochee River.
