HATS PFSO 2007-2008 MEMBERSHIP/VOLUNTEER FORM
PARENT INVOLVEMENT IS THE KEY TO A SUCCESSFUL YEAR!
The Henry Abbott Technical High School Parent/Faculty/Student Organization’s main goal is to facilitate communication and involvement between parents and the HATS faculty and student body to provide a positive learning experience for your son or daughter.
Everyone is welcome to join and may attend any of our meetings (please see the website for specific dates throughout the 2007-2008 school year.) We ask for a $10 donation per family/faculty to help supplement our fundraising activities such as assemblies, programs, field trips and scholarships. Our meetings last approximately 60 minutes and are held one night a month. We also have various events throughout the year such as the Teacher/Staff Appreciation Lunch (Fall), information tables at Open Houses and Conferences (Oct/Nov), snack bars at basketball games(Jan-Mar), and our Annual Scholarship/Alumni Golf Tournament (June). As a school with students enrolled from various area communities, we value any ideas or suggestions that you would like to offer.
Please plan on becoming a part of this organization, not only by joining with a $10 membership donation, but also consider donating your time and talents.
