SKILLS USA COMPETITION

Henry Abbott Tech did very well in technical contests for the Skills USA Competitions.  We had a handful of second place winners, and a number of students placed in the top 6. 

Senior, Jordan Quimby was awarded First Place for Prepared Essay in the 2008 SkillsUSA State Conference.  "This award was well-deserved for a solid and creative essay on the theme Champions at Work.  I enjoyed working with Jordan throughout his writing process,” stated Ms. Greenberg, General Education Department Head.

The essay winners were declared right before April vacation.  Jordan was honored at a luncheon provided by the Culinary Arts shop.
