Students Get Lesson in Layout |

Class of 2010 students recently got a lesson in laying out a
new production job. Under the direction of Electrical Department
Head George Ballard, students learned to map out and make plans
for a new production job in Brookfield, Connecticut. The house
is being renovated and expanded by the Abbott Tech Carpentry
Department. Ballard brought his students to gain a better understanding
in what it takes to work on a production assignment from start
to finish. Electrical Class 2009 students will be working on
the assignment. "They should be able to get the job done
in a week," said Ballard. He said that he might include
the Class of 2010 students in the job if the Seniors are busy
on another work assignment. |
