Electrical students worked on
a production project in Danbury helping renovate a 12,000 square
foot commercial building that is being restructured into 5 units.
These units are being set up for automotive repair, a race car
shop, a spray booth area, a fabrication shop for exotic kit cars,
and an owners unit. According to Electrical Department Head George
Ballard, the students are installing a 800 amp underground service
3 phase, 4 wire with all conduits for sub feeders, all wiring
for lights, plugs, switches, emergency lights, and outside lighting. |
