NEWS Plumbing
and Heating Students Working on Plumbing and Heating students are busy working on a major production assignment in a newly constructed home in New Fairfield. Under the direction of Department Head Tony Resendes, Senior and Junior students are putting in the rough plumbing (heating, venting, and waste) in the new home. They also are working with the Abbott Tech HVAC department in the installation of a hydro-air oil-fired heating system. Resendes also said that the students installed a setup for radiant heating of the garage floor. Later in the year, they will be putting in all of the bathroom and kitchen fixtures throughout the home. Below are some photos of the Juniors at work. |
