ACADEMIC ASSIGNMENT REQUIREMENTS
The Administration and Faculty of Howell Cheney Technical School
believes that the timely completion of assignments is critical
to students’ ability to access the curriculum and meet with
success.
Therefore, the school requirement for academic class assignments
is the following:
- Assignments are to be completed and turned in on or before
the due date given.
- Assignments completed and turned in after the due date given
will be penalized 10% for each day late.
- Assignments completed and turned in more than three days
past the due date will not be eligible to receive a grade greater
than 60%.
- Assignments due prior to the end of an academic cycle will
not be accepted after the end of the first class of the next
academic cycle
Late assignments will not be accepted
after trimester grades are closed.
*Individual teachers may choose to be more stringent,
but not less, with clear written communication to students and
parents.
STUDENT MAKE-UP POLICY:
Per student handbook, i.e. one day absent is equal to two days
for make-up work to be completed, etc.
Incompletes may be given for trimester grades only with the approval
of Administration. |
