THE
LMC provides full library media services to the Cheney
Tech students and faculty. Some 9,000 titles support the
curriculum, personal issues, and recreational interests.
The collection includes books, magazines, newspapers,
school archives, video-cassettes, computers, INTERNET
service, and a photocopier available for staff and student
use. Books and many references may be borrowed. Other
materials and equipment (including magazines, Cheney Tech
Yearbooks, videocassette/audiocassette player/recorders,
overhead & slide projectors) are available for classroom
use and by special arrangement.
COME INTO THE LMC AND EXPLORE THE NEW LIBRARY SERVICE. We
subscribe to the EBSCO-HOST database, which allows all
staff and students access to full text articles from about
550 magazines, 204 U.S. newspapers, and more. Stop by
the LMC for the user name, password, search tips, and
in-depth instruction on its use.
