On Friday, October 2, 2009 students from Cheney Tech and several other technical high schools gathered at Camp Farnum in Durham, CT for a day of community service activities.  Camp Farnam Website

Cheney Tech students participated in removing leaves and debris from the trails, building decks and steps for the cabins, re-screening cabin windows, and applying protective stain to an outbuilding.

Our students did a great job on all the community service activities that they participated in.

A big thank you goes out to all the students who participated, to Ms Heidi Balch (CTHSS SkillsUSA Consultant), and Ms Gina Aresco (Cheney Tech SkillsUSA Advisor) for organizing the event, and to the Cheney Tech faculty that assisted with the projects.

We are very proud of everyone involved!
