Duties and Responsibilities of State Skills USA Officers
(Standing duties of the State Executive Council)

1. You will attend all State Officer Meetings called. This includes activities that are deemed necessary by the State Director.

2. You will memorize all appropriate ceremonies and speeches.

3. You will serve as a workshop presenter and/or group leader at the Statesman Conference.

4. You will serve as a Leadership Trainer in your local Chapter.

5. You will attend all industry and Professional education Conferences as assigned.

6. You will serve as an Installing Officer at local SkillsUSA installation and initiation Ceremonies.

7. You are responsible for meeting or exceeding your membership goal for the year.

8. As a member of the State Executive Council, You are charged with the responsibility of meeting or exceeding all of your goals and objectives in your Program of Work.

9. And most importantly, as a member of the State Executive Council, You represent Connecticut SkillsUSA as well as your school, You are expected to maintain professionalism at all times.
