SEASON OUTLOOK

The Football team will look to return several key players as the team will look to improve on their 0-9 record in 2008. Ellis Tech will return Seniors  Kyle Lablanc , ARMY bound Clinton Chase , Lewis Sykes ,Luis Quintana as well as Juniors John Politis ,potential All League Mikey Seifert , Jake Mayo , Jon Bazinet and Frank Miner just to name some of the key returnees that will play a primary role leading the TIGERS back to the top of the division that they once enjoyed .ELLIS TECH. , one half of the Football cooperative that includes Tourtellotte Memorial High School is in its 10TH VARSITY SEASON  and is sponsored by the Thompson Police Athletic League .The  "team  " plays in the Eastern Connecticut Conference , and provides 3 levels of play , Varsity ,  Junior Varsity ,  And Freshman allowing for plenty of opportunities for playing time among all candidates . In 2008 the J.V. team was 4-3 , and the Freshman team finished 5-2 giving the team a positive outlook for 2009.    The team will begin pre-season practice on AUGUST 19 , 2009 at 10:00AM at KOINONIA School of SPORTS  ,on Rt. 21 in Thompson CT
