Construct Tables For Scouts
2009 Dining Hall Table Replacement Initiative

Since the summer of 1964 the camp has been well served by national BSA design dining hall tables constructed by the camp staff prior to the first season. Over 45 years later the scouts are ready to retire these tables.
The new tables will follow the same design but replacing the plywood tops with hard poplar wood with a nice finish. Students of the Harvard H. Ellis Technical High School will construct the tables and we hope to have the Dining Hall outfitted by Summer 2009.
All Freshman and Sophomores Carpentry students assisted in getting this project done. Hard work and great craftsmanship can be seen in each of the tables constructed by our students. Mr Beland, Ellis Tech's teacher of  the year has been supervising the project form the start.
