Relay For Life 2009

The hippie themed 2008 Relay was a HUGE success! Although times were tough for collecting donations, the team pulled through and collected over $10,000 for the second year in a row!! School fundraising helped reached that goal and the entire faculty, staff, and student body helped the team by participating in the Kiss the Pig contest, Penny Wars, as well as buying stars, moons, and ribbons. A basket raffle and picture station helped to make the weekend event a success! I am very excited to begin our third annual team and to help raise money with the American Cancer Society!

 

The first step is to complete the Youth Waiver Form and read the Parent Permission letter. Forms must be handed in to Ms. Greenhalgh in room 107 along with a $10 registration fee. At that time, you will receive your collection envelope and you can begin asking for donations!

Students, please consider helping out with team fundraising this year! Committees will be formed to brainstorm fundraising ideas and to organize and run the events! If you are interested in helping, let Ms. Greenhalgh know now!

 

Do you need an activity for activity day?? Sign up for the Relay for Life club! We will help to organize every aspect of the team!

 

Parents, you can do your part as well! Parent involvement at the team fundraisers will be needed! If you are interested in helping, email or call Ms. Greenhalgh today! Overnight chaperones will also be needed for the event in May. If you are interested, contact Ms. Greenhalgh for a form to complete.
