On
Thursday, October 11th, the American Red Cross and the Connecticut
Association of Schools held their 3rd Annual High School Recognition
Luncheon. High schools from across Connecticut were honored
for their successful blood drives throughout the 2006-2007 school
year.
Of the nineteen schools recognized for the prestigious
Dr. Robert Carroll Award of Excellence, six were from the Connecticut
Technical High School System. This award is for the schools
recognized as a member of the Top 10% Club for superior contribution
as a blood drive sponsor. Congratulations to Cheney, Norwich,
