In the months leading to the CAPT the lobby of E.C. Goodwin was transformed into an academic learning environment on four scheduled Saturday mornings. Students at Goodwin Tech were provided the opportunity to enhance their CAPT skills by participating in a Saturday CAPT Academy at their school. Teachers and staff worked with the students. They focused on particular areas to help the students succeed. The areas included math and writing skills.
