Each year YWCA New Britain celebrates its goals of eliminating racism and empowering women through recognizing outstanding women in the community for their leadership contributions. This year, E. C. Goodwin’s Rebecca Washington is among those being recognized by the YWCA and is a recipient of its “Women in Leadership” award for 2009. Congratulations, Rebecca.
