Student Council

Advisor: Ms. Perry, ext. 333

E.C. Goodwin’s Student Council is a democratic organization whose primary goal is to promote student leadership through cooperative involvement of students, faculty, staff and administrators.  Because the role of Student Council is so important to our school, all members must maintain certain eligibility standards.  Student Council members must stand out as those who exemplify E.C. Goodwin’s school goals by:

  • Sustaining a positive school environment by maintaining an excellent attendance record.
  • Achieving excellence in teaching and learning by earning a grade point average of at least 70%.
  • Establishing strong community connections by being a positive role model for peers through exemplary conduct in school and in the community.

Being involved with Student Council gives students many opportunities to make an impact on our school environment and in our community through student leadership and good citizenship.  Membership in the Student Council is a privilege and responsibility. The selection of Council Representatives and Officers is a serious matter, as these people affect matters of vital importance to all students.  We are pleased to introduce our Executive Officers for the 2008 – 2009 school year.
