HVAC students worked on a special project for the Neighborhood Housing Services of New Britain. They put in a complete gas-fired heating system in an older three family home on Silver Street as part of an effort to refurbish and rehouse homes in the Broad Street area of New Britain. All of the construction shops at Goodwin Tech worked together to convert the structure into a new two family home. Under the direction of insructors Mr. Pudlo and Mr. Curtis, the students also be installed two electric hot water heaters.
