June 2006 Revised Minutes 6:40 pm

May 2006 minutes read by Treasurer, motion to accept by Mr. Pop, 2nd by Mrs. Matteson

Treasurer's report was read after item #2 under old business "fundraisers"

Motion to accept Treasurer's report by Mrs. Matteson, 2nd by Mr. Pop

Old Business:

All night Grad Party - building paid for; buses will cost $200, tip for drivers $50. $300 for DJ; 2005 paid $2500 for Party People, 2006 paid $1500 for Group from Colchester ; $500 for hypnotist. Approx. 30 Tables and 150 chairs needed; Navy crew has been contacted to help set up.

Frito Lay- no donation, Pfizer donation $300.

Fundraisers: Flop; it rained for the car wash; no advertisement for motorcycle run, only 2 couples showed up. Need to advertise at least 2 weeks ahead of time, maybe on the radio; maybe redo the motorcycle run 2-3 weekends after school starts.

It rained for the car show.

Cat show will be 2nd weekend in Sept. Maybe get Mike's to sponsor a bike show, possibly Columbus Day weekend.

Field Day: went well; DJ was free; $165 dunk tank only broke even.

Non-Profit Status: Mr. Casey and Mr. Cervera are helping to work on it, still pursuing tax ID. It was mentioned that records are checked; can get audited up to 5 years. Should we set up a limited liability parent group without the Grasso Name? If we use the school tax ID #, basically the money goes into the class account and the students need to vote on its usage.

Awards: Mr. Jones picked them up; underclassmen on Monday 9am. Senior PFO awards 12" trophies, all others 2 ¾ medals on ribbons.

New Business: Executive Board meet in summer for business Mrs. Matteson made motion, Mrs. Sidle 2 nd .

Uniforms: PFO wants to sell shirts for shops; everyone order together instead of each shop ordering their own thing. Maybe get sweatshirts blue or grey. There will be breakaway lanyards for school IDs.

New Freshmen Night: went well, had a night with hotdogs/hamburgers in May.

Next Year: Mrs. Matteson suggested that she, along with Karen Sidle and Pam Gonski organize the 2007 All Night Grad Party. Does someone want to take over the craft show?

School Store: Are we having it covered either lunch time or first in morning. Leva Welh said she will work the store, son Ryan will clean it.

Good of Organization: Following Monday there will be a state PFO meeting in Middletown . Summer Exploratory is full, more students accepted than in the past.

Adjourn: 8:02 pm, Mrs. Welsh motion, Mr. Pop 2nd . Respectfully submitted by K. Sidle
