SkillsUSA is a dynamic student club that enables students to compete in their given trade areas against students from other technical high schools.  Competitions started at the state level on March 27, 2009 at Vinal Tech.  Students who finished in first place in either the trade or leadership competitions competed in the National Competition in Kansas City in June, 2009.
