Our Autobody Race team has figured out this new racecar.  We are consistently running at the front of the pack.  In the May 20th race, the announcer spent about 10 minutes praising the efforts of the Grasso students.  He called us the “Grasso Gladiators”.  He repeatedly praised us at every caution flag when there was a break in the action.  About 20 to 25 present and past students lined the fences after the finish of our feature event and they were recognized over the PA.  We finished 3rd, starting out 17th, with 32 cars racing.  We are currently 2nd in the point standings, out of 36 cars that have competed this season.  Wednesday night’s strong finish allowed me to get interviewed on track and give the credit to Grasso Tech.  We’ll be at it again next week, fighting to get the Grasso car to the front!!  Stay tuned!
