Department of Labor Representative Speaks to Hospitality Students

On Wednesday, January 31, 2008, Ms. Resa Spaziana, a Field Supervisor for the Department of Labor and Mr. Tom Keyes, a Special Investigator from the Department of Labor, spoke to the Hospitality and Customer Service Sophomore and Junior classes. Ms. Spaziana spoke in detail about her job duties. She visits construction sites, restaurants, hotels to ensure employers are following all state labor laws and regulations. Mr. Keyes talked to the students about child labor and work safety laws.
