On December 5th the freshman class sponsored a bonfire and Winter Festival fundraiser held in the rotary in front of Grasso Technical High School. This event was extremely successful. The fire burned hot for over an hour and shot flames over forty feet in the air. To add to the excitement and experience the freshmen hired a DJ to play selections chosen by the students at Grasso. We were treated to a culinary delight of hamburgers and hot dogs, and finally the event concluded with a terrific display of musical ability from the Army National Guard Rock Band. What a success!
