DRESS CODE POLICY

SCHOOL ATTIRE IN ACADEMICS

The following attire is MANDATORY while in academics:

BOTTOMS:

  • Khaki pants, or tan or black Dickies. 
  • Pants must be “Docker” or “Dickie” straight leg style worn or belted at the waist. No jeans will be allowed.
  • Wearing of shorts will be determined at the discretion of the Principal.

TOPS:

  • Short and long sleeved “golf” or “polo” shirts with collars with school logo appliquéd on the front of the shirt in green or white.
  • Solid long sleeved shirts or undershirts can be worn under the short sleeved shirt with no writing or designs
  • Optional crew neck sweatshirts or green fleeces for colder weather with school logos ONLY are allowedHoodies are NOT allowed –in any area of the school. 

Students who do not comply with dress code policy are subject to disciplinary action.  Students should look similar to the students photographed below.

SCHOOL ATTIRE IN TECHNOLOGIES

  • Each technology area will designate a specific shop uniform for their students in grades 10, 11, and 12. 
  • The uniform will consist of a top and a bottom of a designated color and material. 
  • Uniforms will be made available for purchase during the year.  Everything can be ordered from the school website. Look for the Condor Logo and click on it to order.
  • Students are to keep all uniform tops buttoned and tucked in at the waist at all times.
  • Hoop earrings and jewelry are prohibited in certain technologies. 

Freshmen Exploratory Dress Code: Phase I and II

        • Exploratory shirts are mandatory. Also safety glasses and work boots must be worn.
        • All jewelry is prohibited.

All O’Brien students will be required to wear picture identification cards in all areas of our school including shops beginning in August 2008. 
Identification cards shall be worn while on school property or at school-sponsored events.
