The Derby/OBrien Football program completed its first season as a member of the Southern Connecticut Conference. The team finished with an overall record of 3-7 and 3-3 in their division. At the Thanksgiving game vs. Shelton HS,  senior Billy Hayes  became the first OBrien player to score a touchdown .
