The Emmett O’Brien Student Council Organization worked with the Valley United way to gather food for the Harvest House project on Saturday September 26, 2009. O’Brien students were among many organizations which came together to contribute non-perishable food items. The food was then dispersed among organizations in the valley – Area Congregations Together, the Valley Chapter of the American Red Cross, the local Safe Home, St. Vincent de Paul food bank, the YMCA, the Umbrella, the Parent Child Resource Center, and the Salvation Army.
