| Skills USA is
a national organization serving nearly 250,000 high school and
college students and professional members who are enrolled in
training programs in technical, skilled and service occupations,
including health occupations. Through Skills USA, students gain
self-esteem, pride in their work, and leadership and professional
development skills to help them make a smooth transition from
school to the workplace.

O'Brien
Tech Students Do Well at State SkillsUSA Competition
O'Brien Tech had five first
place winners in the Skills USA Competition held on Friday,
March 28, 2008. These
students will be competing in the Nationwide Competition in Kansas
City, Missouri in June. The National Winner
will go onto the International Competition—the world wide
competition host city is still to be determined by the governing
board of Skills USA.
