2. Go to http://www.ancientegypt.co.uk/gods/story/main.html
Read the creation story. Compare this creation myth with the Norse creation myth. (Search Norse creation myth in Google.)

3.  Click on EXPLORE. Look at the pictures of the Egyptian gods. Select ten. Click on the pictures and fill out the attached chart with the gods' name, description, hieroglyphics, and patron.

4. Go to http://www.kingtut-treasures.com/hiero.htm See your name in hieroglyphics.
Next, go to http://www.eyelid.co.uk/hiero1.htm Read the site and answer the following questions.

a. What were hieroglyphics called?

b.   Name and explain the four categories hieroglyphic signs are divided into.

5. Choose one god out of the ten to build your brochure around. Use this site to reference the gods, as well as the one in "Explore." http://www.touregypt.net/godsofegypt Your brochure must include the following:

a. What is the god the patron of?

b.  Describe the god's appearance.

c.  A description of his story

d.  Was he worshiped?

e. A picture of the god

f.   A picture of his hieroglyphic

g.  Three pictures of Egypt

i.   Promote him. Pretend you are an ancient Egyptian. Why do you want to have this god in your life?
