Ray
Ramirez, a Junior in the Information Systems Technology program
at Vinal Tech, has been selected as a Governor's Scholar for the
2007-2008 school year. Now in its 12th year, the Governor's Scholar
program was established to select 30 academically talented high
school students in schools throughout the state and present them
for special recognition to the Governor of Connecticut.
The program is sponsored by the Connecticut Association of Schools
(CAS) and Big Y Supermarkets. Ray and the other students selected
were honored at an awards luncheon in May at the AquaTurf in Plantsville,
Connecticut. Congratulations Ray! |
