SkillsUSA Hosts First Blood Drive for 2007/2008 School Year

On Tuesday, October 2, 2007, SkillsUSA hosted its first blood drive for the 2007/2008 school year.  Seventy three appointments were on the schedule.  A total of 48 usuable pints of blood were collected which helped to save 144 lives!!  A big thank you goes out to the following staff members who took time to roll up their sleeves; Virginia Casanova, Sabrina Papadopoli, John Anderson, Matt Noonan and Corrie Merris.  An even bigger thank you to staff members Bill Balch and Donald Wood for their Double Red donation!!  The next blood drive is scheduled for Friday, January 18th from 7:45 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. in the gym.
