Manufacturing Tech Students Create Parts for Local Inventor

Recently the manufacturing technology shop was asked to help out a local inventor manufacture prototype parts for an invention he created and wanted to build. The students eagerly accepted the challenge and worked as a team to produce the parts and meet the deadline. Often the shop is asked by outside customers or companies to produce parts for them. It gives the kids valuable exposure to real world/work experiences.
