Technologies students prepared for their first clinical experience
at Arden House Nursing Home. This year we are having a pilot
program where one sophomore will be going out to clinical each
day with the juniors. This experience will give the sophomores
some insight to the real world. This experience will also allow
the juniors to utilize their skills of leadership and be role
models for the sophomores. At the end of the clinical experience,
the juniors will have completed 161 hours of service.
While 108 hours are required for the state exam, we feel that
extra hours will build confidence and increase the students’ marketability.
