For
the first time Seniors in Health Technology will gain clinical
experience as Medical Assistants. Dr. Alan Friedler DMD has
agreed to allow our Seniors in his office and experience
some real world views on being a Medical Assistant. The students
will participate in filing, medical coding, answering phones,
and setting appointment, with the supervision of the office
staff.
By the end of 2009, all of our seniors will have a chance
to experience the world of Medical Assisting.
We are hopeful that
the class of 2010 will have many medical workplaces to
gain experience as medical assistants. |
