The Women’s History Contest is an event that is supported and funded by Mrs. Irene Angeletta, a former language arts teacher at Eli Whitney. Winners of this contest have submitted a tribute in the form of a poem, essay or short story to a special woman who has made an impact on their lives. This year’s winners are Talondria Henderson, first place; Carlos Rivera, second place; and Catavius McClain, third place. |
