Students at Eli Whitney recently received a technology grant through ACES that will allow them to work together in teams with Derby High School students to create interactive tutorial websites designed to be shared with each other and with other schools around the world. Simulating a business environment, team member responsibilities include a project coordinator, web designer, technical writer, multi-media animator, and graphics, video and sound editor.

their first meeting, students participated in diversity training
and received technical instruction on how to use "Blackboard"
technology to communicate with team members. |
