Directions to the School

From I-95 North - Take Kimberly Ave. Exit 44 (in West Haven). Turn right on Kimberly Ave. Turn left on RT 10 (Boulevard). Turn right on Boulevard. Turn left on Whalley Ave. Turn right onto Fitch St. Continue straight on FITCH Street (will pass Southern CT State University) until you reach the intersection of Fairview Avenue and Arch Street.  At traffic light (a gas station will be on the right side) bear left onto Fairview Avenue.  Eli Whitney is approx. ¼ mile on the left.
From 1-95 South:  Take Ella T. Grasso Boulevard Exit 45.  At end of exit ramp turn right onto the Boulevard.  Continue straight until you reach the end of the Boulevard (approximately 2 miles).  Take a left at the traffic light onto Crescent Street (Southern CT State University will be on the left).  At next light take a right and continue past SCSU onto FITCH Street (a cemetery is on the left side).  At 4th traffic light (intersection of Arch Street and Fairview Avenue) bear left onto Fairview Avenue.  Eli Whitney is approximately ¼ mile on the left.
From I-91 North/South - Take exit 10 (Dixwell Avenue, Hamden), follow ramp to first exit.  Take left at end of exit ramp.  At next traffic light take another left and proceed to next traffic light.  Take a right onto Dixwell Avenue. Continue straight on Dixwell for approximately 2 ½ miles (Landmarks:  Hamden Town Hall, Hamden Shopping Plaza, Hamden High School and Rte. 15 entrance signs).  Proceed straight on Dixwell Avenue until you see the Hess gas station.  Take a right onto Second Street.  Go past the second stop sign at the end of the hill and school is located on the left (Second Street then turns into Jones Road).  Visitor parking is designated in the front parking lot.
From RTE. 15 North / South - Take Exit 60, Dixwell Avenue (Hamden).  Turn right onto Dixwell Avenue.  Continue straight on Dixwell for approximately 1-½ miles. Once you pass the Hess gas station, make a right onto Second Street (Second Street turns into Jones Road).  After the second stop sign at the end of the hill school is located on the left.  Visitor parking is designated in the front parking lot.
