On Saturday,
October 13, 2007 The Honor Society participated in a community
service/volunteering effort at the annual WALK for LUPUS NOW fundraising
event held at Lighthouse Point Park.
The National Honor Society student’s help out by donating their time by face painting, applying temporary tattoos, and managing the moonwalk. This was truly a fun, different, and memorable event for our students!
As a result, of everyones efforts the Walk fo Lupus was able to raise over $11,000!!
The students of the National Honor Society were pleased and proud to meet new people and make others people smile, young and old alike.
Money raised
from the day will go to help people with lupus through patient
