| Selection of the National Honor Society (NHS)
candidates begins with the publication of the second marking term
Honor Roll. To be considered, students must be sophomores, juniors,
or seniors and have maintained Honor Roll status for three consecutive
terms. Candidates are also rated by faculty on leadership, character
and service.
Members take an active part throughout the school year ushering
at school events, selling refreshments at school activities and
night school, and offering extra help to students having problems
with studies, while maintaining their grades at the same time.
