The Wolcott Tech Wildcats played their first home game of the season vs. Cheney Tech and won the match 3-0. Game scores were 25-10, 25-15, and 25-10.

 

After two tough matches this week, the squad bounced back with Aaron Montgomery 12 kills, Logan Mitchell 6 kills, Chris Pfeffer 6 kills, Luke Ross 4 kills, 18 assists, Lance Pepper 5 kills, Nick Schibi 6 kills. Roger Rougeot led the defense with 7 digs.

 

Stepping onto the varsity court for the first time this year was John Blake, Joe Bielefield, Adam Martin and Justin Coons. All of these young players gained some valuable varsity court time.

 

Wolcott Tech’s record goes to 2-3, while Cheney Tech’s record goes to 1-4.

 

Coach Tanguay and Coach Pepper are looking forward to a challenging week ahead when the Wildcats go on the road to Enfield (away-Weds), Oxford (away-Thurs), and meet Lewis Mills for the rematch on Friday at Wolcott Tech.
