 The Wolcott Tech Wildcats traveled to Oxford High School and returned to their regular playing style and defeated Oxford High School with a score of 3-0. Game scores were 25-18, 25-15, 25-16.

 The Wildcats balanced out their offense and moved the ball well throughout the match, and their stats reflect their efforts on the court. Nick Schibi had 12 kills, 3 blocks, 8 digs ; Lance Pepper 12 kills, 6 assists, 3 blocks, 10 digs ; Luke Ross 32 assists, 9 digs, 5 kills ; Aaron Montgomery 13 digs, 10 kills ; Logan Mitchell had 15 digs, 9 kills ; Chris Pfeffer 7 digs, 8 kills, 2 blocks and Roger Rougeot, Libero had a 93% passing accuracy and one back row kill. 

Oxford had Anthony Renzoni with 23 assist ; Frank Dogali had 12 kills, 5 blocks, and Jamin Mucerino had 7 kills and 4 blocks. Wolcott Tech’s record goes to 3-4, while Oxford’s record goes to 0-10.

 

Coach Tanguay and Coach Pepper were pleased that the Wildcats responded by moving the ball around offensively and tightened up their defense.  They are looking forward to the challenge of Lewis Mills, Friday, May 1 at Oliver Wolcott with a 4pm junior varsity start followed by the varsity game.
