dwina

Dwina Solita – Senior Computer Aided Drafting and Design

Dwina was born in Jakarta.  She is at the top of her class in Computer Aided Drafting and Design.  She has been described as an extraordinary student who leaves one with a lasting impression.  Teachers say she is a pleasure to have in class.  She works at fairs and shows around the community as well as being in the leadership club at the Torrington YMCA.  She enjoys helping at Y-sponsored events.

Megan Smith – Junior – Culinary Arts

Described as shy and quiet, Megan is very friendly, and always has a smile for everyone.  Her grades are always excellent and she is meticulous in finishing her schoolwork in a timely and complete manner.  Her teachers say she is steady and detail-oriented and works well with others in the class.

Rosemarie Day – Sophomore – Electronics Technology

Rosemarie is a top student who works to the best of her ability.  Teachers say she goes all out on a single task.  She is known for helping other students with classroom tasks and is pleasant to everyone.  She was recently was selected to be our representative at the Hugh O’Brien Youth Leadership Conference.  She is a LARK volunteer and spends a lot of time babysitting for her family.

Scott Richardson – Freshman –Computer Aided Drafting and Design

Scott is polite, quiet, and well-liked.  He is a terrific student who is hard-working and responsible.  He responds well to his teachers.  He is also a member of the OWTS soccer team.  Scott chose Drafting because he enjoys designing buildings and other things and because he is good at drawing them with the CADD program.  In the future he would like to become a design engineer.
