The 17th Annual OWTS Car Show was held on Friday, May 30, 2008 at the OWTS Field. In total, over 150 classic and vintage automobiles, trucks and motorcycles passed through the gates.

This year’s Best of Show Award went to a black 1971 Chevy Camaro owned by Paul Longo of Harwinton. The Student Choice award went to the 1989 red Chevy S10 Blazer owned by Jeff Carlasio of Waterbury.

Once again this year, a BIG thank you goes out to the Litchfield Hills Historical Automobile Club and the Royals Family of Torrington for their continued support.

All proceeds from this year’s event will be used to sponsor the Tom Matulis Car Show Award, a cash award given away annually to a deserving senior student who has a serious interest in the automobile.
