The
seniors have been working on increasing their drawing skills
and learning how to create a composition. The work on
this page includes two drawing practice assignments – drawing
crumpled paper bags and drawing a small object enlarged so
it uses the whole drawing surface. There are also examples
of “reverse” drawings. The students had to
use powered graphite to cover the page and then use an eraser
to draw shells. The shells were enlarged and then brown
conte crayon was applied to add color and definition to the
shells. This and other work is hanging in the display
case outside the gym.
