With quite a few new players and much to learn the Wolverines were led by an awesome group of young ladies.  Captain Brittany Ronan and senior Maryoly Paulino with the assistance of Shaquella Howard, Nathaly Grajales, and Jessica Encarnacion left no doubt as to the direction that the team was headed and that was upward. 

We as a team learned how to “Love the game of basketball”, have fun, and demonstrate sportsmanship!  We saw tremendous character, which will serve us well in the future, on our trip to UCONN and as we cheered on the boy’s on the way to their CSC championship.

Well, we have champions of our own.  Brittany Ronan, our captain was selected for the Donald J. Lomme Student Athlete Scholarship on behalf of the officials association.  She is on her way to the Culinary Institute of America this fall and Maryoly Paulino, as our valedictorian, is on her way to UCONN on a full academic scholarship. 

We would like to thank our seniors Brittany Ronan and Maryoly Paulino for all of their hard work and leadership.  We will miss you for many reasons especially the laughter.
