Seniors Eren Ceylan and Monica Penafiel have been selected as this year's CIAC Scholar Athletes for Abbott Tech. Each year the CIAC honors students from each Connecticut High School who exemplify excellence in athletics and academics. Eren played soccer and basketball and is a member of the tennis team. Monica played basketball and volleyball and is also a member of the tennis team.

They were honored along with students from all over the state at the annual CIAC Awards dinner at the Aqua Turf in Southington on May 6th. Congratulations Eren and Monica!
