Theme: City (don't have a clever name yet)

Colors: Black & White

Music: A sheet will be sent to your homeroom for YOUR input.  (I still get to hear Disco Duck, right?)

It will be at the AMBER ROOM on 5/16/08

Sit down dinner, DJ is Sound Investments, Photographer: Mr. Melzer (different background than last year)

Class trip:

The vote results are in:

Six Flags NE was the winner.( 55 )

Next was Hershey Park (34 )

Next was NYC. (26)

Mrs. M will put in the paperwork for 6 Flags.

REMEMBER: If 85% of dues are not paid by Feb vacation, we will go to Lake Compounce.

**As of 1/25, Mrs. M is still awaiting approval for 6 Flags.

Fundraisers:

We will start setting up the Dodgeball Tournament. (81-5)

We will order the Matchmaker Fundraiser. (58-27)

You voted that it would be a good idea to sell cookies (52-34).  We will discuss it in our next officer's meeting.  The profit is so small ($1.50/dozen) that it hardly seems worth it.

DUES: Pay now and we will know how much to charge for other activites.

Yearbook ads:  Deadline is January 18.  Pick up forms in the library.

Parents may also "sponsor" the yearbook for $10.  Get the form online.

PAST MEETINGS

Dues:

If you're curious how much you owe, there is a list by student number on the Media Center door.

If you believe the figure is wrong, see Mrs. Markiewicz.  You may need to show her a receipt.  Yearbook ads pay for dues.

Caps and gowns:

If you did NOT order your cap and gown from Jostens, don't worry. If you ONLY want a cap, gown, and standard tassel, fill out the top portion of your order form and the height and weight section at the bottom and give it to Mrs. Markiewicz. This is covered by your dues.  You could also mail in the form or give it to the Jostens rep when he returns in January.

Yearbook News:

There will be a BEST FRIENDS page for seniors.

If you would like to have a photo taken of you and your best friend, go to the LIBRARY 7th period on Wednesday, January 30.  Please stop by your 7th period classroom first!

Senior Slide Show:  Ms Clark will be putting together the slide show and she needs photos.  Digital are preferred.  If you have any questions, see her in the art room.

Prom:

The Prom will be at the Amber Room on Friday, May 16, 2008. Anyone interested in helping plan the prom, see Arleny Paulino.
