Welcome from the School Adminstrator
Our unique certificate program allows students to learn a technical skill, which supplements their sending school's academic program. This setting also provides eligible students the opportunity to earn income while working in their technical field through Cooperative Work Experience. Upon graduation from Bristol Technical Education Center our students are prepared for immediate employment in their certified trade, in the business world, or for higher education. We feel that our school offers a safe, rigorous academic environment where students are motivated to learn and therefore reach their individual potential. We encourage our students to strive for high ethical behavior and to appreciate and accept the diversity that our ever changing global society offers us. We believe that our program of studies provides a broad range of both academic and technological opportunities in order to prepare our students for their future as successful, productive members of society. Welcome
to Bristol Technical Education Center, an exceptional learning
community. Our school draws approximately 130 students from
32 surrounding towns. We offer academic courses equivalent to
other high schools in English, Mathematics, and Social Studies.
We also offer technical courses in Automotive Technology, Culinary
Arts, Electronics, Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning
(HVAC), Manufacturing Technology, and Welding.
