A group of HVAC students are designing and fabricating a project consisting of various sheet metal fittings from their text book "Today's 40 Most Frequently Used Fittings". The students submitted and then voted on various designs before choosing this project.
The project was designed and drawn to scale on a layout board. The students labeled the page numbers of the fitting on the board so that there was continuity between the text and the layout. This project should take about two weeks to prepare before final assembly. "It will be like putting a puzzle together," says HVAC instructor Mr. Donaghy.
